for sale -or- barter: tires pictured on these rims, which have since been -removed- from these rims. had eight, sold four,
four tires remain. should be pretty clear from the images which ones are already gone...
all four tires are the same size, two of the tires are continental "contitouringcontact"
(all one word), size P225/60 R16 98H CH95, ecoplus, made in france. for
convenience, image names (above each image) are wheels A, B, C, and D.
for example, an image named "S500_a_03", is shot number three of the first S500
wheel. the S500 photos are followed by the S320 set, with a similar naming
scheme. the S320 wheels have goodyear "regatta 2" P225/60 R16 97T tires fitted (which are the other two remaining tires).
The S320 lug bolts are also pictured. accurately measured tread depths are noted
in the captions below each image.
please see important info in the
blurb box (below thumbnails) before proceeding - thanks
update 1: there've been some questions re rim widths, offsets, and wether or not
these wheels are "genuine" mercedes wheels. so I've appended the site to include tight closeups of the wheel
interiors, spoke by spoke, complete with all their interior markings (words, letters, numbers, symbols, etc). this should
clarify some, but if questions remain, please ask. thanks
update 2: all eight tires have been removed from the rims.
see that site (more or less
the same site as this, except the rims are shown
without tires on 'em, which is their current status).
if you're coming to gainesville, perhaps you'd like to see an alphabetical linked list of all the
other items I'm selling.
at the top of the same list, is a short
list of some of the items I'll swap my stuff for...
images on this site are large (800 x 600), which means navigation will be *far*
easier if windows users will press your F-11 key now (and again when done here).
there are captions below each image.
I'll sell one tire and rim, or just 1 tire, or just 1 rim less the tire, or all
eight tires AND rims "as one lot", or anything in between (2 rims, four
tires/whatever). I -don't- have a 'tire machine' - there are tire shops around
the corner from here. or I'll trade
these, in full or in part, for an old utility trailer, or "component parts" of a utility trailer, or possibly for an old 3 phase electric motor
somewhere in the 7.5 to 15 hp range, or maybe an old AC/DC welder. I could also use a metal lathe, and/or a milling machine...
some tires are still wet (from washing) in these photos. I'm still trying to
'relocate' the S500 lugbolts...the S320 lugbolts are pictured here too. I -might-
ship, but vastly prefer local pickup...
bandwidth-constained folks might want to flip through the thumbnail indexes
first. users with small monitors can quickly view the captions by using their
'home' and 'end' keys. my home and/or cell phone numbers provided on request.
there's an e-mail link at the bottom of every page. any questions please ask.
thanks.
